Blast Protection - Series BW8200

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solution's BW8200 Resistor Blast Resistant Curtain Wall is engineered, designed and tested in accordance with the demanding Blast Standards of GSA, DoD & ASTM for low to mid rise projects. The 2-1/2" x 7-1/2" curtain wall utilizes a pressure bar glazing method with 9/16" laminated & 1-5/16" laminated, insulated glazing infill. The BW8200 is available in a shear clip assembly method providing accurate and quick joinery. The innovative two piece horizontal back member utilizing a snap in horizontal flat filler truly makes this curtain wall an easily fabricated and installed system for Blast Resistant applications. Trulite's 350 Blast Resistant entrance can be integrated into this system creating the unique ability for Trulite to produce and furnish the complete blast resistant system and glazing, which is an added convenience for the building team.
